Security forces have claimed that the terrorist organization has suffered a major setback due to the demolition of this terrorist hideout.
According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense in Jammu, Lieutenant Colonel Devendra Anand, the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police have jointly seized a huge amount of arms and ammunition by demolishing the terrorists’ hideout in Navapachi area of Kishtwar district of Jammu. He claimed that after receiving intelligence, the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a search operation in Sarkundi area in Kishtwar district.

During this operation, the security forces found the hideout of the terrorists in the area from where a large cache of arms was recovered. The recovered weapons included two grenades, two magazines of AK-47, 109 rounds of AK-47, 56 rounds of Pika, one magazine of .303 rifle, 27 rounds of .303 rifle, a detonator and a safety fuse.
